West Yorkshire Pack Walk Picture
Yesterday's pack walk was a success, all dogs behaved brilliantly, apart from my Rags ironically... who spent the whole time puffing like a steam train and getting wired at the thought (and scent) of squirrels, ducks, swans and other small furries! There's always one... and it's usually Rags... a reminder of how scent associations become heavily wired into emotional memory! This is the place where he usually gets to race around in nature, trying to catch nature, and failing, but having an exciting time trying anyway...
West Yorkshire Pack Walk!
The first walk of the season is upon us after a slow start to the year. Walking at Newmillerdam, Barnsley Road, WF2 6QP. All are welcome, leaving the car park at 4pm on Friday (24th April). Parking costs around £1 for two hours and £1.30 for four hours, be there or be square! On lead only, poo bags at the ready and fingers crossed for sunshine :)
Welcome Ava
We are delighted to welcome Ava to the Balance Behaviour team! Ava is our new Rottweiler puppy and is proving to be an absolute star, we are currently working on habituation and socialisation so watch out! Nobody is safe! We have been stalking the postman, bothering people in wheelchairs/with walking frames/sticks/alarming hats etc. You name it we're doing it :)
